Sony showing off Grand Theft Auto 5 near the end of their press conference likely led many to believe that the game would only be getting a next-gen overdo for the PlayStation 4, but that most certainly isn’t the case. Rockstar has since confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be headed to the Xbox One and PC, as well, and both should be coming on the very same Fall 2014 date that the PS4 version is slated for.
In case you haven’t already given it a go on the Xbox 360 or PS3, GTA 5 tells the story of three men trying to find their way in the world. Two of the gentlemen share a grim past robbing banks and jewelry stores, while the third has been swept beneath their wing to learn the tricks of the heist trade. Together, the three go on one of the wildest rides we’ve ever seen in a GTA game.
The game’s unique gameplay element of allowing you to switch between all three characters on the fly is quite slick, and it’s that kind of uniqueness — among a beautiful open world, rich story and interesting characters — that will make GTA 5 worth buying twice for some of you.
