Multiplayer matches in Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall will be capped at 12 players. This information was recently confirmed via Twitter by Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella. While the highly anticipated shooter’s player count will be limited to 12 people, the game will also offer additional AI supported characters.
“That’s humans only count,” Zampella tweeted. ”There are lots of AI, everyone can have a Titan in follow or guard mode too.”
In a market where first-person shooters are crowded with high player counts, it’ll be interesting to see how Respawn’s first venture fares against its already established competition. Titanfall hits the Xbox One on March 11th, so we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
