Remember on Friday when we reported that the profile setups on Xbox.com would be receiving a new facelift? Well, I hope you weren’t planning on waiting a while for this feature to be implemented, because it’s already live!
The main feature that I was excited about was implementation of the Xbox One’s new Achievement system, and the ability for users to now save these images and used them as their desktop backgrounds or avatar/banner pictures, or anything else you could desire. And while this feature is a great improvement over the 64×64 images we used to get, I’m somewhat disappointed that they aren’t of a higher resolution – or at least the ones I chose to demo weren’t.
Hopefully we’ll wallpaper-worthy sizes sooner, rather than later – if ever – but either way, this is a great improvement. The new Friends and Game Clip features are also worth checking out. Head over to Xbox.com to check out all the updates!
I’ve included a gallery of some of my favorite achievement art below.
