As anyone who’s played Titanfall can probably tell you, the evacuation ships that appear at the end of matches are always massive targets. Between the victorious team’s remaining Pilots and Titans simultaneously bombarding this poor immobile target, it’s fairly common for it to be destroyed – or at least heavily damaged – by the time the evacuation timer winds down. However, were you aware that it’s possible to destroy the ship after it has warped away from the battlefield?

There are other curious myths tested out in this episode of DefendTheHouse‘s Titanfall Mythbusters series, some of which I have found myself exploiting in the past, but the myth regarding the evac ship is by far the most interesting – and the least useful.

Considering how the game is completely based around your having to be connected to Microsoft’s servers, the fact that this made its way through QA is rather astounding.
