If there’s one thing Microsoft has done absolutely right since the launch of the Xbox One, it’s listening to user feedback. It’s not uncommon to see the likes of spokesperson Major Nelson or head of Xbox Phil Spencer perusing a Neogaf or Reddit thread of users brainstorming about new features. Some of those features have already been delivered in various Xbox One updates over the past few months, and Microsoft won’t be stopping that train anytime soon.
The company announced the launch of the Xbox.com Feedback Portal to give us an easy way to voice our wants and needs, and vote on new features and changes that we want to see. Users can sign in and see categories of suggestions about everything Xbox Live and the party and messaging system, to the Xbox store, the apps and even the console and accessories themselves.
There are hundreds of great new suggestions already being voted on over there. We should be clear from the jump and note that there’s never a guarantee Microsoft will implement something even if it gets tons of votes. It’s all left up to their discretion and the feasibility of the suggestions itself, so don’t be bummed if one of the top-voted suggestions ends up never making its way to the forefront.
But it’s nice to know Microsoft has created a central location where people can bring all their ideas together and let Microsoft know which ones are most important to them. Be sure to head to feeedback.xbox.com to check it all out.
