In an effort to apologize to its customers who received defective Xbox One consoles, Microsoft is offering free digital copies of select games.

“While a replacement console is on its way, we want to ensure our advance exchange customers can stay in the game,” a statement from Microsoft said. “We will provide each of them with a free digital download of one of the launch titles published by Microsoft Studios.”

So, what games are up for grabs? Dead Rising 3, Zoo Tycoon, Forza 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome. We still can’t help but feel bad for people who’ve experienced hardware issues, but this is a pretty decent way of saying sorry.
