American rock band Linkin Park’s newest music video ”Guilty All the Same” was completely made from Team Dakota and Microsoft Studios’ world building game Project Spark.
According to a recent Xbox Wire posting, the ”Guilty All the Same” is a is a remixable, interactive, playable level for gamers who are participating in the game’s ongoing Xbox One and Windows 8.1 beta. The folks at Billboard report that band members Joe Hahn and Mike Shinoda “want their fans to literally play with their music.” Hahn came up with the idea of a playable music video after seeing Project Spark at last year’s E3.
“I saw this cool demo for Project Spark, and it just blew my mind,” Hahn told Billboard. “For me, the next step was to see if we could showcase our next song as a game instead of a video.”
