Lego games have an off and on again relationship with the Xbox One and today we’ve found out thatLego The Hobbit is on for the Xbox One. Based on the movies The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Warner Bros. Interactive announced that the game is scheduled to release sometime in 2014.

Today’s announcement validates a recent rumor that a Hobbit-themed Lego game was in the works. Now if only that rumor about Lego-themed Halo game wasn’t an April Fool’s joke.
