If some of your pre-installed Xbox One games won’t load properly and keep sending you back to the console’s dashboard, this might be the solution that you’ve been looking for. A YouTuber recently posted a video claiming the Xbox One doesn’t reset its system’s RAM when shutting down in power save mode.
This issue has yet to be confirmed but the proposed solution is to either unplug your console’s power supply directly from its power outlet or hold down its power button for ten seconds. The poster claims this will clear the system RAM and resolve the issue.
As of now none of us here have experienced this problem, but if you have and you’d like to give it a try, the ball is in your court. However, be cautioned that the claims being made here are yet to be confirmed, so do so at your own risk.
In the meantime, we’re going to reach out to Microsoft in hopes of confirming this reset process and of course we’ll update things here if we hear anything.
