Originally released as a Windows 8 and Windows Phone game, twins-stick top-down shooter Halo: Spartan Assault eventually made its way to the Xbox One last year. Originally priced at $15, the joint venture between 343 Industries and Vanguard Games has received a price drop, reducing the title’s premium to just $10. Unlike other Xbox One titles that are being temporarily discounted, this price change is said to be permanent.
At face value Spartan Assault is a fun game, it’s not the grand adventure that Halo fans are used to, but at $10 it’s a solid deal.
