Microsoft has just dropped a nice bit of news for those of you still zipping around tracks on Forza Motorsport 5. The company has finally announced that the Nurburgring has been added to the game, and that it will be available starting today as free downloadable content.

The Nurburgring is one of the most iconic tracks in racing, and it’s celebrated in pretty much any serious racing title out there. It’s a shame that the game didn’t launch with the track, but good on Microsoft to bring it for folks who can’t resist a nice, long lap around its fast turns and exciting slopes.
