During a recent live-stream, Bungie confirmed that the Destiny beta won’t be running at 1080p on Xbox One, though they do emphasize that both platforms (the Xbox One and PS4) will be seeing the same 1080p, 30fps when the game finally launches. This makes sense, as the beta build has been finalized for several months now, and it wasn’t until a few weeks ago that Microsoft opened up access to an additional 10%  of the console’s GPU. The way that Deej (Bungie’s community manager) worded it was by stating that “there’s always time for improvement.”

The first official looks at the first ever Xbox One footage of the game will be released some time within the next week, but until then we can look on longingly as Bungie invites its new friends.
