Earlier this week during a panel at EGX Rezzed 2014 – a gaming event held in the UK – Creatively Assembly announced that Alien: Isolation will be launch on Oct. 7  this year. Creative Lead Alistair Hope said in a statement that “We couldn’t be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation.” He went on to state that “The reaction [Creative Assembly has] seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It’s the Alien game that we’ve always wanted to play and we can’t wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall.”

Alien: Isolation will be release on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. Let’s just hope that this installment within the Alien universe fairs better than the train-wreck that was Colonial Marines. To see more of the game, check out the gameplay preview.
