We’ve heard a lot about Dragon Age: Inquisition, but BioWare has stayed understandably quite on their next Mass Effect project, and even more-so with their new IP – until today. What EA brought us wasn’t a trailer for the next Mass Effect project, but it was an explanation as to what exactly their different teams are working on, and in what direction they’re taking said projects.

Briefly summarized, the next Mass Effect game is going somewhere new, with new characters and new stories to fall in love with. There’s more to love than Shepard, and they’re going to show us what those things are.

Additionally, the Newington studio is starting from a clean slate and creating a completely new and believable functional world. How far are they going with these new worlds? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
