There has been a flurry of unconfirmed claims that Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 is in the process of receiving an HD facelift and a recent listing on Austrian website Gameware is finally giving these rumors some legs to stand on. While there’s not a lot to it, the site lists a title referred to as Resident Evil 4 HD for Xbox One, with an odd price of € 69.99 (around $96).

Since its release on Nintendo’s GameCube in 2005, Resident Evil 4 has been widely considered one of the best survival horror games ever made. Throughout its near 10 year history, RE4 has been ported to the PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows, Android and iOS. So, the thought of an HD remix isn’t too far-fetched.

Taking the listing with a grain of salt, it could easily be a placeholder for a game that has yet to be announced. We’ve reached out to Capcom for comment and will update this news article if any new information becomes available.
