A recent DDoS attack from a hacker group by the name of DERP managed to bring down some of EA’s login servers. This blocked online access to several of the company’s games including Battlefield 4 andFIFA 14. Without getting into specific details, EA acknowledged the issue on its official support Twitter account and eventually got its servers back online.
Recently, the hacker group took credit for accidentally interrupting PSN services when it was originally targeting PlanetSide 2 servers instead.
