Digital Extremes’ free-to-play co-op title Warframe has been out on PC for quite some time now, and was recently brought to the console market as a PS4 exclusive. However, if a PEGI listing is to be believed, the exclusivity of this fairly successful title has all but expired. The European software rating agency currently has a Warframe listing for Xbox One with what appears to be a placeholder release date of December 31st, 2013.
The title is rated PEGI 18 and reads identical to every other version of the game, stating that the Xbox One edition contains “Extreme violence” and that the “content of this game is suitable for persons aged 18 years and over only.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard that Warframe might be making its way to Microsoft’s new console. Digital Extremes previously stated that the PS4 version of its sci-fi shooter would be a timed exclusive for three months. While this wasn’t confirmation of a planned Xbox One release, it definitely gave us something to think about.
Warframe is not currently listed for the Xbox One on the North American Entertainment Software Rating Board’s website.
