We’ve seen still shots of the Xbox One’s internals, but how about some video action? Over the holiday weekend, the folks at iFixit published a post-teardown video taking a closer look at the components featured in Microsoft’s newest console. Unlike the tightly packed Xbox 360, the Xbox One’s design theme appears to be spacing and ventilation.
Trying to keep things cool this time around, there’s a massive fan wrapped in heat absorbing copper and as we already know, the console sports an external power supply, further reducing internal heat. In addition to an overview of the Xbox One’s massive motherboard, the video takes a look at the system’s Philips-made Blu-ray drive.
Whether you’re a fan of hardware or you just want to see what makes the Xbox One tick, check out the video and feel free to share you thoughts in our comments.
