If you’re a hoops fan looking for ultra-realism, NBA 2K14 on Xbox One is as good as it gets. Player models look amazing, gameplay is solid and for you pixel counters it runs at 60 frames per second in a native 1080p resolution.
In addition to impressive graphics and an excellent presentation, the game has a few hidden features that players may not be aware of. If you find yourself getting angry after a missed shot or a botched call by a ref, you might want to watch your language, because the Xbox One’s Kinect is listening and you might get hit with a technical foul.
Bear in mind that this is pretty much standard in a real world NBA game, but such realism might be too much for irate gamers. If you happen to fall into this category, you could always disable the Kinect when playing 2K14.
