On paper the Xbox One doesn’t support replacement hard drives, but this isn’t entirely true. A YouTuber has posted a video revealing that Microsoft’s big black box does in fact support replacement hard disks, which actually perform better than the console’s stock drive.
In addition to the issue of a voided warranty, the modder has yet to figure out how to partition the drive, which means you won’t be able to use its full capacity. All caveats aside, if you consider yourself a tinkerer, you’ll definitely want to check out this video.
