Microsoft’s Xbox One dominated sales on Black Friday according to figures from Walmart and Target stores in North America. Both Xbox One and Xbox 360 seem to have outsold the PS3 and PS4 consoles. The Sony consoles made up 30% of all sales while Microsoft’s consoles made up an astonishing 61% of sales. This comes on the back of a very successful launch for Microsoft that netted over 1 million sales of the XboxOne in just 24 hours.
In terms of game sales, call of duty came out tops as expected:
It is now pretty clear that Microsoft is playing catch up to Sony and they are doing so well. The console is likely to continue to dominate North American sales for the foreseeable future.
