The Xbox One is definitely off to a good start, recently Microsoft announced the console has reached 1 million sales worldwide.

“We are humbled and grateful for the excitement of Xbox fans around the world,” said Microsoft’s Yusuf Mehdi. “Seeing thousands of excited fans lined up to get their Xbox One and their love for gaming was truly a special moment for everyone on the Xbox team. We are working hard to create more Xbox One consoles and look forward to fulfilling holiday gift wishes this season.”

While this is good news for Microsoft, the Xbox One’s launch has not gone completely without incident. Reports of consoles having disc reading issues surfaced almost immediately after its launch, which the company has addressed and claims is a small number.
