Although today is Xbox One Day for many, eight years ago it was all about the Xbox 360. The console that shipped with two confusing SKUs (Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Core system), an awkward blade themed UI and a laundry list of hardware issues, but man was it cool!

It took the Xbox 360 nearly a year to find its stride and when it did, the console almost never looked back. Gears of War, Halo 3, cutesy avatars, Netflix on a console — man oh man did things get sweet.
