Earlier today, Activision kicked out a press release stating Call of Duty: Ghosts sold over $1 billion in retail on day one. No matter how you slice it, that’s a ridiculous amount of coin. With so many people picking up the game at launch, there’s a fair shot that you’re among the masses who bought into Activision’s newest moneymaker.

If that’s the case we’ll go even further to wager that this isn’t your first rodeo and you’ve bought previous Call of Duty games as well, perhaps Modern Warfare 2? If you’ve answered a string of continuous yeses then you might find the next few lines of text to be pretty interesting. It just so happens that a sequence in Call of Duty: Ghosts bears a strong resemblance to a scene in Modern Warfare 2. Maybe it’s a coincidence. Maybe it’s not. But there’s no denying the similarities between the two segments.
