In an unexpected turn, Ubisoft let two of their prized stallions run rampant on Microsoft’s stage, and both were gorgeous! Assassin’s Creed: Unity and The Division both saw new gameplay clips, and regardless of whether or not they were 100% scripted, they succeeded in getting me excited. That being said, The Division‘s showcase seemed like more of the same, and less like an E3 trailer.

Maybe my expectations were too high, or maybe it was the adrenaline from the Master Chief Collection announcement, but whatever it was, my #1 from E3 2013 left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed. Mind you, it still looks gorgeous, but as far as announcements go, this one was somewhat lacking.
