Recently we were made aware that the Xbox One version of Minecraft would be “a lot larger” than the Xbox 360 version, but we were never given a definitive numerical size. Well today, that has changed. Taking to Twitter (as if they’d talk anywhere else), 4J Studios has stated that they’re playing around with a world-size some 36X (36000%) larger than Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

In addition to the world-size discussion, 4J also posted some screenshots of both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions that we can use to compare the draw-distance and other world effects. A comparison .gif can be seen below.
