ID@Xbox, the Independent Developers Publishing Program for Xbox One had proven to be a boon for both Microsoft and indie game developers, with plenty of games being developed due to the program. One of the more recent of which is horror title Grave by Broken Window Studios.
Set for release in early 2015, this atmospheric survival horror title will feature a full story progression, a rapid day night cycle where the terrain changes every sun up and the ability to fight off attackers using light rather than guns or knives. The game is being developed in Unity and the art style is said to be inspired by surrealist art. The developers have claimed that Grave aims to ‘reinvent’ survival horror and the player will have to use strategy to survive.
The developers are currently running a Kickstarter for the game to help with development. They have less than 72 hours left to go and only $2k to reach their starting budget. If the game sounds interesting to you, you should definitely check it out.
So what do you all think of this?
