Did you find an amazing seed that you always find yourself going back to? Do you have sentimental attachments to the first world you and your friends ever generated? Were you afraid you’d lose all these when transferring between Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and Minecraft: Xbox One Edition? Well fret no longer!
After months of teaming up with Mojang, we can confirm that Minecraft X360 Edition will save transfer to Xbox One Edition…more news soon!

As someone who falls into several of the previously-mentioned categories, this is a terrific relief! There’s no word yet on whether or not transferring the saves from Xbox 360 to Xbox One will require you to stick with 360′s the rather limited world size. Considering the amount of time that this version has been in development, I find myself slightly optimistic, but not enough to where I’d be betting on it. More news is on its way, so I’m sure we’ll know for sure soon enough!
