Microsoft has moved over 1 million Xbox Ones since the console launched and 12,000 of those units came from eBay, most likely with a bit of a markup. Furthermore, 7,000 of those consoles were sold on eBay during the Xbox One’s launch weekend.
For those of you who are trying to get hold of an Xbox One and have had no luck, as of today there are still around 8,000 consoles listed on eBay, but expect to pay a higher premium, because that’s how the whole “buy a pre-order, sell a pre-order” thing works.
